JustLend DAO, a lending protocol on TRON, rents energy from TRX staked in its sTRX pool through a smart contract. The renter prepays the energy fee, a security deposit equal to one day’s fee and a liquidation penalty reserve of at least 20 TRX, and gets the unused fee and the deposit back when the rental is returned. Rentals are priced by the hour or by the day, for up to 30 days.

JustLend publishes the formula rather than a fixed list price, and its documentation says current prices should be read from the contract. It announced a cut in the base rate from 15% to 8% from September 1, 2025. The receiving address must be an activated regular account, not a contract.
Before you buy: JustLend’s energy rental launched on April 16, 2023. Return the rental before it expires: if it is liquidated, you lose the penalty reserve of at least 20 TRX and part of the deposit.
